Beiteddine Palace
Built in 19th century, Beiteddine palace welcomes its visitors with mosaics decorated with Italian marble, and square towers. The palace includes a spacious hall and 3 sections bearing their old names so far, which are: Dar Al Harem, the middle house and the outer house. The floors and halls of the palace were divided for various purposes, between horse-riding exercises, holding parades and daily celebrations of the city, in addition to receiving guests and rooms for the palace residents. Between these floors is the Palace Museum, which houses gold jewelry, weapons, and collectibles that refer to different eras in the 19th and 20th centuries. The historic palace was also distinguished by the architecture of its columns and the nature of the stones used in them to separate the room from the other.
Deir el Qamar
Deir El Qamar is one of the most beautiful towns in Lebanon. Known as “Capital of the Princes”, located 850 meters above sea level, Deir el Qamar resembles a museum of architecture and heritage. Historically, the town was, for four centuries, the most important political, economic and cultural center in Mount Lebanon. This glittering period in the history of Lebanon bequeathed the monastery, to the charming palaces, many of the meticulous architectural works that you clearly see in homes, such as mandalins windows, arches, and others.
